Best Android Tablet Review

There are many Android tablets available on the market. That is the beauty of the open development of the android operating system. Unlike the iPad which is only available to Apple, android is available to anyone. The open-source concept behind the development allows the technology to push past conventional, single minded development. What this will inevitably do is make the system better and better.

However, since there are so many different players in the game, how do you know which is the best android tablet? Our goal with this post is to highlight the best android tablet reviews. This list will inevitably change as new and better android tablets enter the market.

1. Kindle Fire, Full Color 7″ Multi-touch Display, Wi-Fi

Kindle Fire, Full Color 7The Amazon Kindle Fire is, in our opinion, the best Android tablet on the market today. It comes with a vibrant 7″ multi-touch screen so viewing videos and movies are crystal clear and wonderfully colored. The wealth of books, apps, periodicals, games, movies, TV shows, music etc. available in the Amazon marketplace makes the Kindle Fire extremely powerful. The slick multi-touch screen makes navigation a breeze. Is has a fast dual-core processor so you can listen to a CD and surf the Internet at the same time. The Kindle Fire supports Flash so you can watch videos, play games and various other dynamic interactions. The Amazon Cloud is a storage technology and the Kindle Fire is designed to take advantage of this technology. It stores files on Amazon’s server and allows your Kindle Fire to connect to it so you are not using up the built in storage. It is small enough and light enough to hold in your hand yet it is sturdy and scratch resistant.

There are a couple of drawbacks, but only a few. First it only is available with a WIFI connection. It does not at this time have 3G or 4G connectivity. Newer models are sure to, though. Some prefer a larger screen. The screen size at 7″ is ample, but larger screens of 10″ are preferred by some.

The Amazon Kindle Fire is moderately priced and an overall fantastic device. It gets our #1 ranking as the Best Android Tablet.

Best Selling Android Tablets, March 2012

Yes. It is that time of the month again. Time for the list of the best selling Android tablets for the month. This is the monthly round up of sales of the Android tablets. If you are looking for a Android tablet, you certainly have come to the right place.

These posts are always popular, which is why I write them every month. They give you an honest look at what people are actually buying. Ads are great. And the promises they make are also great. But does anyone ever actually buy the product? And if they do, are they happy that they did? That’s the beauty of the Amazon market place…you can read what actual customers think about the product they have bought.

I strongly encourage you to read my reviews, but even more so, go to Amazon and read what other users have to say. That is the best way to shop for anything, in my opinion. I rarely buy anything anymore without having read reviews.

OK. Enough blabbing. Here is the list.

iPad 3 VS. Kindle Fire

OK. So the new iPad is out, the iPad 3. The product is much hyped and much anticipated. Is it really any better than the last version? Some say not, others say so. But, if you haven’t bought one yet, and can’t decide between the more expensive iPad 3 or the much less expensive Amazon Kindle Fire this comparison might help you.

Granted, this just compares technical aspects. It is not to debate iOS vs. Android. Or open source vs. proprietary. It simply states the cold hard facts. Or the truth, if you will. And if you can handle it.
